Along with my digital work, I’ve created print work and photographed events for use both on and offline. As staff photographer for Austere Magazine, Patron Magazine and Denton Live, I worked with creative teams to create engaging campaigns and digitalize formerly print-only productions.
The following are some spreads from a bi-monthly print magazine. I conducted interviews and combined a photojournalistic style with a specific design vision to create images unique to each spread. The magazine ranged from concept to concept, so I worked together with art directors and designers to create a cohesive story.
My work with Patron Magazine consisted of documenting Fine Art events around the Dallas area for the monthly publication. The images were candid photographs of people interacting with each other and art at various events and galas. The published photographs covered the Dallas Art Fair, featured artists at the Dallas Museum of Art, the Cartier Paris Novelle Vague collection celebration, and the TACA awards luncheon.
Most of my work for Denton Live was social channel moderation and content creation, but as Music Editor, I covered concerts, wrote reviews of local band's albums, and chose winners of our "are you #dentoning?" content which linked our social media and print presences together. Here are two of the spreads I curated and designed along with album reviews.
