West Oak Coffee

My main role at West Oak was to manage and create content for our social media platforms: Facebook and Instagram while simultaneously documenting the happenings of the shop. I created posting cadences, and photographed series that highlighted the community, the food, and of course, the coffee.

Austere Magazine

Covered events such as music festivals: Austin Psych Fest, Index Fest, Oaktopia, 35 Denton and various art and fashion events from Dallas to Brooklyn, New York. Also conducted interviews with artists and musicians to create social media content for our instagram and snapchat channels in addition to our online publication and bimonthly print magazine.

Denton Live magazine

The Denton County Visitor’s Bureau commissioned a team to convert their print magazine: Denton Live into Online content to steer visitors from other cities and countries to visit the town of Denton, Texas. As an editor, I managed content creation and page editing, curated content, conducted interviews, wrote stories, tweets, and posts and created content calendars and cadences to continue the flow of online content and the production of a print magazine. We leveraged #Dentoning to create community involvement through user-generated content and secure brand identity.
