Creative Experience Strategist
My photographic work is an exploration of digital and print media. Through process of physically collaging images, photographing them, then digitally adding emojis and other digital image, I create scenes that depict emotional, political, and social conflicts faced in our society today. This juxtaposition of mixed media and jumbled storytelling serve as commentary of how we process information today whether it be through the internet or a print visual, our mind separates the two worlds. My final step of printing the final image brings these emojis to the print world, bringing the conversation back full-circle: the internet and print media exist as one entity deriving from the other, they can exist in their own realms, but inherently work together.
